Student Exchange
The Institute for Global Justice and Security (IGJS) strives to develop undergraduate and graduate student exchanges with other universities and academic institutions abroad in order to enhance knowledge and learning.
Over the past 10 years, graduate students from the Criminal Justice Masters Program have traveled to Finland, Sweden, and Estonia as part of an educational program focused on providing graduate students the opportunity to study different models and systems for policing and corrections.
The Institute is not a Department; therefore, it does not enroll students or grant degrees at the graduate or undergraduate levels. See http://www.justice.eku.edu/futureStudents/default.asp for more information about undergraduate and graduate degree granting programs in the College of Justice & Safety. It is important to note, however, that graduate students in the College have received graduate assistantships and have been assigned to work on research projects with faculty affiliated with the Institute.
